Give a Dog a Bone: Blogs About Pets and Toys

Hello world! My name is Mary, and my dog is my best friend. His name is Bandit, and he's a spunky little rescue. He hates to be left alone, and I'll admit that he once broke through a screen, walked several miles to where I was, and sat outside the cafe waiting for me. Since I work from home and don't go out often, I spend a lot of time with him. However, in most cases, owners would need to crate train their dogs in those situations. Anyway, wherever you are in your relationship with your dog, I hope you find what you need in this blog. It's going to be a mixture of fun tips, ideas, and facts. Enjoy!

Cat Ownership – It Can Be Easier!

Amber Knight

There are four main things that your feline friend needs on a daily basis – food, water, litter, and love. When you're busy with kids, grandkids, work, or what-have-you, it can be difficult to stay on top of keeping all of the supplies stocked up and still have the time to love your kitty like it should be loved. Here, you'll find a few tips to help you get your kitty's necessities without taking away from the precious snuggle time.

Litter Delivery

Kitty litter isn't light. When you go to the store, you have to hoist it up into your cart, into your car, and into your home. Well, what if you didn't have to go through all of that anymore? You can have cat litter delivery sent directly to your front door. Rather than going through all of the physical pains of buying it at a store, home delivery saves you all of that heavy lifting and often saves you cash as well.

Food Delivery

Food can be delivered just like litter. You may find that online stores have a greater variety for your cat to test out. Just remember that if you notice any changes in your cat's digestive process, you'll have to figure out what kind of food it was that triggered the problem. Because of this, it's important to only try a single type of food for a few days before moving on to the next flavor.

Note: If your cat has special dietary needs, you'll likely have an easier time finding the products that you need without spending too much because you can see a greater variety at a better price, and it's delivered directly to your home!

Automatic Food and Water Dispensers

How many times do you come home from a long day and find that your cat has finished off all of his food and the water dish is empty? This doesn't have to be an issue – you can pick up food and water dispensers to ensure that the cat is fed and watered all day long.

Two things to consider: if your cat is a glutton, you may want to consider upgrading to a time-release feeding station. This system will release food only at times that you have set. This will keep your cat from sitting there and overeating.

Tip: Use distilled water in the water dispenser so that it doesn't get caked with hard water stains.

Owning a cat doesn't have to be back-breaking. These options will free up some of your time, save you the back pain, and possibly save you some cash in the process.
